I like this picture because of the contrast between the branches and the icicles/snow. The branches are a dark brown and possibly black color while the snow/ice is a bright white. The branches almost look like black icicles. They are small twigs just hanging onto the tree. The branches are collecting snow and ice which is why I'm calling them icicles.
