Floating Away

A leaf fell into the pool and it floated away. Sadly, my camera isn't waterproof so I couldn't get one of those cool half water and half sky pictures. This angle almost makes it looks like the leaf is floating above the concrete.

Riding off into the Sunset
The ending of a movie, two people riding off on horses into the sunset. Well these three flowers were doing the same thing, riding off into the sunset only they weren't moving, they just were watching the sunset.

Ghostbusters 2

Does this car see familiar to anyone? It sure does to me. It looks like the Ghostbusters car speeding away to catch some ghosts. I kind of blurred the picture to make it look like the car  was speeding by, but assure me it was only going 10 miles per hour.

Boo!

Happy Halloween everyone! Once upon a time, a not so very far time ago, this picture was taken. In front of a spooky house with Halloween decorations scaring everyone away from it. No not really, its just a house, with decorations, that might scare some people away.

Street View
While taking this theme of pictures, I noticed this in the street. I waited for the cars to pass then took the shot. Like the last picture, this one too is a little blurry.

Sky High
Way up top in the sky there is this tree. The tree goes up so high that planes have to dodge it. Well not really, but from this view it looks like planes have to dodge it and the sky is touching the tree.

Facedown
Unlike humans, lizards can climb walls and hold there position on walls. This one just happened to be on the window sill when I was walking back from taking the previous and future pictures.

Fuzzy Clouds
Extremely similar to yesterdays post, Nature, this post also features two trees and some clouds. Unlike yesterdays post, this is a little more blurry and the clouds look more like cotton candy, except the fact that they are not blue or pink.

Nature 

Outside my house there are some trees, now the trees do not completely cover the sky so I took a picture of them and let the sky take the background. Not even realizing this, there was another tree in the background too, double the tree double the awesomeness.

It's Good

After the score by number 2, the kicker kicked up the ball and I let smack dab in the middle of the up-rights. I know the picture is really fuzzy but hey, at least I got the shot.  

Duck
When entering the end zone you need to do it in style right? Well if you talk to number 2 he will tell you just what to do when entering the end zone, duck your head and let your arms fly behind you.

Green Grass

The focus is on the grass but you can still see the game going on in the background. Can you see the green and white jerseys and the hints of pink on their sleeves and undershirts?

 Sunset on the Field

Although the sunset is not the absolute best sunset, you can see a partial sunset over an empty football field. I haven't even mentioned the clouds up top, they look like tiny drops of water placed in the sky.

Hut

On my last picture of the Red River Showdown series, I had to choose this picture. The reason I named this picture Hut is because is you look closely than you can see that the ball is midway between the center and quarterback.  

Lines of People
To the left of our seats you can see the rows and lines of people. Somehow I took the picture right as 5 of the people in the camera view looked at me, I'm just taking a picture people come on!

Daylight and Shade
In the Texas heat some shade is pretty nice considering there are metal bleachers and 92,000 people around you. It is like you are stepping out from a sauna and into the sweet AC. I said that the heat probably was blamed for 70% of the injuries.

Flying High Over the Stadium
No matter what event or pretty much where ever you are you can see the American or, in this case, the Texas flag. Sadly, the camera crew and part of the crowd was in the way of the shot.

Half and Half

If you have even been to the Red River Showdown you would know that half the stadium is red and the other half is orange. I know this picture is not the best, but can you see the separation?

The Red River Showdown

Howdy folks! Welcome to the Red River showdown/ Texas State Fair photo theme. Starting off with the Texas/ OU football game then heading into the state fair theme. Trust me, I've got many pictures lined up for the next multiple days.  

Bright Lights

Extremely similar to my last picture, "The Only thing Shining," I used both my flash and the same tree to take this picture. The only thing I changed is that fact that I have another tree in the picture. Just if you were wondering, the back tree is not dead, its just the way the flash is.

Double Waterfall

It not everyday that you see a double waterfall but I was lucky to see one, well if you call the water flowing swiftly over the rocks a waterfall. It is almost as good as the one at Yellowstone National Park or something!

 The Only thing Shining

Just outside my front door there is a tree. During my short walk between the newspaper and front door I took this picture. Obviously I used my flash because the tree looks like it is in day time while the sky is black.

Specs on a Flower
Succeeding a rain storm and while the clouds where still gray and the rain had not evaporated yet, the flower had specs of rain water on it. The rain water kind of looks like tiny, tiny mirrors.

A Picture of a Picture, Two
Like a picture of a picture, a picture of a picture, two, it also consists of a mosaic and it revolves around my peacock theme. This especially fits with my peacock theme because of the star of the picture, the peacock mosaic.

On Top of the Rock
Both on top of the rock and staring right at the camera, this peacock is the perfect poser. He must have obviously known that I was taking pictures because like the last peacock picture, he too was looking straight at me.

Picture of a Picture

Continuing on the peacock theme, I saw this mosaic and it seemed perfect for the blog. I took some close up and some pictures from this angle I chose this angle because you can capture the whole mosaic and some of the roof.

Head of a Peacock
I spotted some peacocks and I took some headshots. I am pretty sure the peacocks knew what I was doing because as soon as I started to take pictures, the peacocks looked my way. Then you look behind the peacock into the eyes of the beautiful green bushes.

Black, White, and Blue

The tree in front of the blue and white sky canvas is the black paint to this canvas. This picture has such depth and such clarity that it is hard to believe that this is my picture!

Wisps of Clouds
When I went outside, I came right back inside to get camera to take this picture. The clouds look like strings of silk and who doesn't love some soft silk?

Streaks of Sun

In between the clouds and tree are tiny streaks of sun. You can barely see them but once you find them they are really neat to look at. Not to mention the cool looking clouds too.

Minty Veins
Our neighbors garden consisted of many different type of plants and shrubs. I stopped and took many pictures of the plants and shrubs but the one the spoke out to me was this one, it is a close-up picture of a mint leaves.

Front and Center

As I focused on the railing, the background started to fuzz up. If I focused on the background it would have been a nice garden of flowers behind the intricate design of the railing but I thought the railing looked cooler so I focus on it instead.

Up Close and Far Away

Through the tree and to the clouds is my picture Up Close and Far Away. Outside in my backyard, I spotted the clouds peeking out from behind the tree. The blue sky behind the tree makes the tree and picture look even better.

Flowing in the Wind
I was walking by this flag and the wind kicked up, and the flag started to flow in the wind. I started with a low shutter speed then I realized a faster speed looks nicer. So here you have it "Flowing in the Wind."

The Only Star in the Sky
In middle of the city the stars sometime stop glowing leaving only the moon left in the sky. Somehow I managed to change my camera to darken the edges giving it a more nighttime feel.

Friday Night Lights, Literally
While visiting my friends school, during a high school football game, I caught sight of the lights shining down on the playing field. I noticed the angles and took some pictures. It came out almost like a search light breaking through the darkness of night.

Cannonball
During a little swimming fun time, my partner wanted to do a cannonball. Since I had my camera right next to me, I just had to take pictures of this. The shutter opened and closed just at the same time the splash started to form and rise into the air.

A Flash of White Rain
I during little rain storm, the rain started to drip in one area. I focused my camera in that area and held down the button. Even after that the rain drop still was faster than my camera's shutter speed.

Downtown's on the Horizon
Driving to a shop I saw the humongous buildings of downtown. The buildings look like monsters compared to the tiny storefront on the small street that we were driving on. They look like skyscrapers, both literally and physically! 

Partly Cloudy with a Chance of Tree's

During a stoplight, I looked out my window and saw the trees covering the partly cloudy sky. I then thought of the trees invading the sky for some reason which somehow led to the movie 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' which somehow led back to this leaving me to call it Partly Cloudy with a Chance of Tree's.

Fire in the Skies

Still on the trend of yesterday's post, the sun was barely peaking through some clouds, leaving some of the clouds red some dark gray. Then it almost looks like the tree is almost trying to touch the red hot clouds.

Dark Clouds, Light Wood
Toward the end of the day, with the clouds looking like they were about to overflow with rain. I turned on my flash and as expected, it didn't reach the clouds but it did hit the wood illuminating it and making it look like the sun was hitting the wood but not the clouds.

A Look Into Rain
While going on with my rain theme, I looked out my window and saw nothing but rain. Usually you can see all the way to the street way out in the distance, but in this picture you can hardly see it.

Rain Drop
While a during a sudden storm, I focused on the ground and captured rain drop just after it hit the ground. It created this cool funnel like hole.

Heavy Rain, in Slow-mo
During a heavy rain shower, I looked out the window and saw the rain falling harder than ever. I took a few pictures and as the rain hit the road it almost looked like it was going up not down.

Rain and Trees, Mixed
in the background of this picture there is rain while in the forefront of the picture there are tree branches. I timed and captured the picture with just enough so that the rain droplets were frozen and you could still see them.

A Flower, Upclose and Personal

This wonderful photo, taken by my grandfather, captures everything a flower has. The crisp and sharp  picture lets us see more of the flower. Also the background is cool, because you can see the other flower buds and the grass like strips. 

Small, on Medium, to Large
Like my earlier picture Small, Medium, Large, of Yu Darvish and his sons this picture has a small pillow to a medium pillow to a large sofa pillow. The strips on the two pillows make the picture look even more interesting.

From one Tree to the Next

While taking focus and a picture on the closer tree I didn't even see the other one. Then as I was scrolling through my pictures, I spotted the second one in the background.

Spotted Leaf
While taking pictures of flowers I spotted this green and yellow colored bush. It looked like it someone took a paint brush and splattered yellow paint all over it. Turning it multicolored and marvelous looking.
