Guns Up

Before the game, Neal, wanted to show his muscles. He put his guns up and there they are. You have big muscles Neal!

Blocked

Arkansas State is going up for the shot. UTA's number 4 is trying to block him. After a few seconds, UTA wins and forces number 3 to pass, then his teammate took a shot.

Going Up for the Lay-Up 

Number 5 is going up for the lay-up. He is being blocked by the defender. Will he score or will he not? He didn't, but UTA got the rebound and then scored a three-pointer.

Driving Up

Starting now, you will see a bunch of pictures from my visit to watch the University of Texas at Arlington's men's basketball game. I was able to be on the baseline and take amazing close-up shots. Thanks, Mrs. Ellman!

Down the Seats

Thanks to Allie Z., we can see this amazing view of a row in Temple. The chairs curve that provided for a beautiful shot, which Allie did perfectly. Great shot Allie!

Run Left, Break Right

Number 1, Neal, was running to the left then dashed right to the basket. I believe he made it, I don't have proof because I didn't photograph the shooting part, whoops.

Candle Up

The candles provided me perfect photographic opportunities. For every single angle, I took multiple pictures and I thought this was the best on of them.

Little Torahs' to Big Torahs'

Someone left the books in the back of the room. I focused on the books and left the rest of the chapel to do it's work.

Wax

The intertwined wax strips provided the light for the evening. The burnt candle shot off a great white light then was put out.

Out the Stage

On the stage, I set up my camera facing outward. The Jewish Torah cover, is on the bottom the the seats are out all waiting for you to say something.

High Up Lights

The lights are floating! No, they are just hanging by cables shining down on the audience below. The little windows up very high are also cool light features.

Colored Glass

As the sun shines through this glass, the colors also carry through with it. Purple, Blue, and Orange streaks are scattered throughout the ground.

Glass Trees

In front of a giant glass window, there are several trees. The trees are real but the glass behind it isn't. This glass is reflecting the other trees which is even cooler.

Holy

In the choir loft at the temple, I had a birds-eye view of everything. All the seats lined up and the lights hanging from the sky. It sure was a very gorgeous view from out there.

Up & Up

Like the company Up & Up this fountain also went up and up. I was very pretty to watch. I would like a nice slo-mo of this, that would be awesome.

Cloudy Sunset

On a fast drive, I took a blurry sunset shot. The colors look beautiful, the trees not so much. Look at the difference between the top and bottom of the screen.

Slick Surfaces

Icy rocks are not easy to walk on. Luckily, I didn't fall into the pool. I had a few slips, but I didn't take an ice bath.

Blue Berry

These fake blueberries were just 'hanging around.' I didn't know what these 'blueberries' were, so I played it smart and didn't eat them.

Tree Sunset

The sunset was great behind this tree. The clouds are the only party crashers. The sunset isn't the best too.

Pool

Isn't pool such a fun game? At a friend's house, we played pool for about 2 hours. Pool is such a fun game, especially when you are with friends. 

Rolling Hills and Clouds

Just kidding, the ranch still carries on. The wide angled view provides for a great photo. The clouds are specs of gray cotton candy.

Blowing in the Wind

Wrapping up the ranch pictures, outside one of the cabins there was an American flag. A small gust of wind came and started to blow it.

Sunset fountain 

The same sunset as the light picture, this fountain was right in front of the sunset. Focussing on the fountain, I still captured the sunset colors without the clear sunset.

Lighting up the Night

The lights provided some really cool pictures. With the dark sky and bright lights. The only thing in this picture I wished I'd seen before I took it, was the tree branches.

Silent Night

At the late sunset or very early night, the tree was illuminated by the sunset. I was late and the sunset colors had died down, but the light didn't and this tree was right in front of it.

Red Hot Clouds

Happy Martin Luther King Day! Still, at the ranch, the sunset gave me many opportunities for awesome pictures. The sun is roasting the tops of the clouds while the bottoms still haven't felt its effects yet.

Peaking through the Trees 

How was your 13th? Nothing terrible I hope. The trees just made a little window for me to take this picture. I believe we were on a peak of the hill so that's why the trees look very far away.

Sunny Sunrise

Happy Friday the 13th! I hope today won't be too scary. Who knew sunrises are so sunny? I was having to look down to avoid staring into the sun. I think it was the water particles in the air that made the sun brighter.

Tree Green

During our Deer! night time car-ride, I took several flash pictures of trees, grass, and animals. The dark background and colorful trees counter each other makes the tree bright green and the picture amazing.

Deer!

During our ride in the car searching for wildlife, we came across deer. The deer was caught in our headlights and moved into the road which we were driving on.

White Valley

The sun was shining bright while the faint tree is blowing in the wind. It was quite windy and the leaves were hitting me as I was trying to take this shot.

Peaks and Valleys

Life is full of highs and lows. I was in a peak because I was taking pictures of a sunset on a new piece of land. What are you in a peak or valley?

Texas Hills

At our friend's ranch, the sun rose on the hills. It had rained during the night so the fog came and the clouds too. Then the sun came out and the party started.

Wet Leaves

Like Rain Dropped Leaves, these are wet and are green. They are the same bush, different shot. There quite a lot of different shots you can take on one thing.

Wet Flower

Happy New Year! This flower received a little bath. The tiny glistening droplets of water bring out the flower in a very majestic way. 

Stopped

The ball is in the hands of the to the right of 71. The defender has strapped his arms around him and stopped him dead in his tracks. A three-yard loss for the offense.

Fans Eye View

Sometimes a bird's eye view is not available. The next best thing is a view from the stands. Look closely and you can see that the play is about to start, so hut!

Punt

I timed the shot superbly. The kicker is milliseconds from kicking the football. I think the punt ended up in a good spot, I forget.

Football

Hut. My cousin made it into the championship game I went to watch. We won 41-13 win over the Woodlands. It was a very fun game to watch because we were up all of the game. Touchdown Lake Travis!

Reach-In

Number 1 on the defense had a little reach-in problem. I think he might have wanted the ball too much. You got to get those points!

Blocked

At a basketball game, the defense is jumping up and down trying to not let the offense score. It was quite an amazing jump. The teams played very hard to the end, but one had to win and that was my team. 

Merry Christmas and happy holidays

Near my house, there is a house that has many Christmas decorations. Some of them more floating in the air. It almost looks like the ornament is just there in the air with nothing holding it.

Wet and Dry

On the sides of the waterfall ice had formed, in some part better than others. I captured the edge of the ice where it meets the rock. The bottom must be partially gone because we can see the air pocket where the ice meets the rock.

Rolling Sunset

The clouds were rolling in right as the sun was setting. I was very disappointed when the clouds blocked the sunset leaving me with no sunset and dark, gray clouds.

Icy Waterfall

In the same place as yesterday's picture, the center of the waterfall was flowing and not solid. The water came out of the overhang and splashed a little. I set my shutter speed high and took a picture of the 'flying' water.

Icicle

At our frozen pool, icicles formed. The pool was a liquid but on the little waterfall we have, the sides of it were ice. Some were bigger than an inch thick!

Ocean Sunset

The sun literally sitting on the ocean. I would have never gotten this picture if it weren't for Chris C.  What another element the clouds make too.

Needle in the Sky

A church is a perfect place to take photo's. I saw this church and had to take some pictures. I took more than a few that's for sure.

Fall in the City

While at a stop light, I noticed some yellow and green trees. I thought they were gorgeous. Sadly, the road construction was in the way, but it still is an awesome picture.

Rain dropped Leaves

The rain hit these leaves and left very pretty drops. Zoom in and you'll see them very easily, not so much right here.
