Pin Pointers

These small, black, aquatic animals were scattered everywhere in the stream I was wading in. What better thing to do than to take a round of pictures to share with the world. If you look at them closely, they almost look like pin points or push pins.

A Look Down the Lane
After lunch and on our way home, the street carved a perfect path. The buildings in the background are set right next to the street and as the street curve the buildings do too.

Green Branches

As I was going on a morning run, while delivering newspapers to the neighbors houses, I stopped to see this oddly shaped bush. "It almost looks like a jellyfish," I said to myself before returning to the run.

Bloom flower, Bloom
The background is full of flowers that have bloomed, but this one his not yet bloomed. On a visit to a house I spotted the flowers and took a few pictures before returning to the tour and this is what the picture turned out to be

Trees
Red, orange, and yellow, trees range in color and size. They are like giant humans. They eat, grow and live but the only thing we do differently then them, we sleep and rest much more than them.

Rain, Up-close

Succeeding an enormous rain storm, we were sitting in the car waiting to go inside for dinner. To pass the time, I took pictures of the recently fallen rain before it dried away.

Tuesday, May 31, 2016

Sun Creased Cloud

On the top of the storm clouds, the sun was peaking through giving light to the tops of clouds. Towards the bottom the clouds turned dark and spudded rain and lightning to the ground below.

Tall Grass? No Problem

When you find a tasty snack but the grass is over your head, what do you do? This bird didn't care he just kept on eating away, even though the grass was tickling his body.

Ladybug Leaf

What do you call a ladybug on a leaf, besides a ladybug on a leaf? A ladybug leaf and that is exactly what this is, a ladybug on a leaf.

A Proud Founding Father

The famous George Washington was sitting proudly on a bench in the Dallas Arboretum. He was staring ahead like a war was going on over there. I went beside him and snapped a head shot before leaving. We will always salute you and treasure you George, thank you for your service.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

The fish in this pond were not blue and there weren't two fish (unless you count the part of the fish in the picture). I was walking along when I saw a pond of about 20 fish. They swam close to me and I took a few pictures of them before returning to my walk.

Sky Flowers

Since the sky has white clouds with a blue background, what if we designed it with flowers, white and blue flowers. This is exactly what the Dallas Arboretum did. As we strolled through the monster garden, I looked and saw the flowers, then looked up at the sky. An extremely similar match.

Symmetry is Everywhere

Happy Cinco De Mayo! Anyways, from the wings of a butterfly to the seats at a ballpark, you can find symmetry everywhere. The seats are perfectly in tact with each other, row after row, after row.

May the Forth be with You

Happy May 4th, or as you Star Wars geeks call it, may the force be with you. I was lucky enough to share this picture with you from the inside of the Texas Rangers dugout. As happy as you are Star Wars fans about the new movie coming out, I still haven't gotten lucky enough to watch more than 15 minutes of any movie in the series.

Dirt, to Grass, to Stands

Within the Texas Rangers stadium, you have multiple layers on the field, the dirt, grass and stands. What we see in the stands are stands, stands, and more stands, I guess sitting in the dugout does have its benefits.

Where is my Walnut?

Last I checked a squirrel should know where he buries his walnuts, right?
I think this squirrel got a little confused because he literally dug up the whole plant looking for the nut that he buried in the past, somewhere in this garden.

A Tree Covered Walkway

On my way through the arboretum, we happened to walk through a walkway covered in trees. It was an infamous shot, the bright trees and dark concrete.

Pink Awesomeness

I was walking around in my house, when I spotted flowers on the table. I stopped and took some pictures and this was one of them. I looked at it later and was like this is a great picture, and so, without further announcement, Pink Awesomeness.

Large, Small, Medium

Yu Darvish, Little Darvish, and Medium Darvish all went out to practice on the field at Globe Life Park. Yu just left his rehab from Tommy John surgery and will get back on the game field soon. But nothing's better than practicing with your boys.

Center Field

In the middle of center field in the Texas Rangers ballpark (Globe Life Park), you can see everything. From the seats, to dugouts, to the pitcher's mound, and the batter's box.

An Upside-Down Tower

The flower was symmetrical and tower-ish. The sides were beautiful on both sides. Also, if you cut the outside petals off, you can find an upside-down tower.

The Light at the End of the Tunnel

The sunset had just gone below the horizon but a spec of it was still left. Then the trees make it look like a tunnel. The top of the sunset was night blue, but closer to the bottom, it was bright yellow and orange. I guess there really is a light at the end of the tunnel.

The Flying V

Some birds fly solo, and some fly in a V with friends. This flock of about 25 birds were flying west just as the sun was setting. I wish I could have also had the sunset in the picture too but if I waited for it, the trees would have blocked the whole picture.

Bark to Branch

A tree has two parts, the bark and the branches. Although they are different they are also one. Also, the green leaves look perfect in this picture too. The balance between the bark, branches, and leaves in this picture was spot on.

A Mixed Landscape

The rock, flowers, and pollen were working as one, creating this fabulous picture. They all work really well together. They all act as one, not three.

Friday, April 22, 2016

Nature on Man

A Red Bird was perched atop a wind turbine on the top of a house. It looks peculiar because something like nature (the bird) and something man-made (wind turbine) were working as one. A mix between the two, have we made a new species? The Nature-man?

Rain Soaked

Succeeding a recent rain storm, the rain had left and the leaves were soaked. The drops on the water looked to beautiful to be on that leaf.

Approaching Clouds

These clouds were mixing with others, some dark and some light. It almost looks like trees on a dark cloudy background. Even the black trees seem to make a small difference to the picture. Also, thank you to everyone who has visited my blog. We are now up to 1,000 views! Thank you very much.

Tree Reflections

This tree looks fabulous in the reflection of the water. The blue and the green work really well together. Did anyone figure out how many layers there are in the flower? 50? 100?

Monday, April 18, 2016

Layers and Layers

This flower has layers and layers of petals, so I snapped a quick picture. The pink flower in front of the green leaves really makes the picture. Try to see how many layers there are, I stopped at 50.

Top of the Bee

This bee was resting and eating food when I came in and took its picture. It was a beeutiful picture, you can even see the little veins in his wings.

Mist in the Sky

The clouds were in some odd poses so, I took a picture of them. I looked at the picture and saw something odd, the clouds were almost see-through and they looked like mist. So here I am posting the picture of Mist in the Sky.

A call to Everyone

This bird was taking a call to the wild. The bird had turned his head perfectly letting me snap this picture. The light blue background and everything else dark, is what really makes this picture beautiful.

Thursday, April 14, 2016

Top of the Tree

I look up to find a bird perched on the top of a tree. It looked beautiful, the dark background, black bird, and dark tree. All three of those factors matched perfectly together and they all did it in perfect harmony.

Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Half and Half

This flower is half purple and half yellow, a perfect color match in my opinion. The picture was taking so close to the flower, you can see the veins on it. A perfect flower that made for a perfect picture.

Launching into Flight

I captured this picture at the perfect time; right as the bird was flying away from me. It was right before the bird flapped his wings even harder, making the picture more and more blurry. This photo, came out perfect though, no blurriness, beautiful picture, and a beautiful background. What could have made this picture even more beautiful?

Bee on the Rock
This bee was looking for a good snack when it came across to this orange and gray colored rock. It then started to find and eat whatever was on the rock. Then seconds after I took this picture, the bee flew away.

Yellow Frosting

On the top of the mountain, the sun had just started to hit it. It was light on top but dark on the bottom. A wonderful and magical picture, you can even see the ski run on the side.

Center of the Shrub

The center of the little green shrub looked almost identical. Then the shrub came out looking all pretty and symmetrical, a perfect picture. I was at the right place at the right time.

Waterfall, after Waterfall, after Waterfall

Is there anything better than having four waterfalls in a row? Five? The precise, and magical waterfalls were full of water and flowed like a smooth rain from a cloud.

Snake Hair

In the beautiful spring flower season, a 'snake flower' came out. The little snake-ish hairs coming out of the center of the flower looked like tiny snakes in the flower.

Snow Topped Mountains

The Rocky Mountains in Colorado, were blanketed in snow from a recent snowstorm. The bottom of the mountains were rocky and dry while the top of them was covered in feet of snow. Then you see a portion of the town and how close the two are.

A Sun just over  the Mountain
The sun was just over the mountain when I was lucky to snap this shot. The sun was in its final minutes before it went under the mountains. Only seconds later and the sun had gone into hiding for the night.

Tuesday, April 05, 2016

Blue Background, White Trees

The snow had just seized up and the sun started to came out. The snow on the trees and the blue sky really made the picture. It looks great, everything really came together perfectly.

Mount. Sunset

In the end of our week trip to Colorado, an amazing sunset happened to form. It was red, orange, yellow, and white all at the same time (white snow). It looked amazing with the sun hitting the mountain but the mountain blocked some of the sunlight, just amazing.

Postcard perfect

This fabulous picture features the snow, rocks, trees, and mountains. Then when you put everything together, it really becomes a picture. It looks almost as good as the photos you see on postcards, Welcome to Colorado.

Frozen Falls

In the middle of winter in Colorado, the temperature dropped to one degree. Causing the water to freeze creating a frozen water fall. It is on some rock on a cliff, everywhere else around it was either snowy or dry. It is like it froze, melted, then froze again, creating this magical water fall.

An Icy Tree

This horrible picture was one of the worst photo's that I have ever taken, April Fools! This is, actually, one of the coolest looking pictures that I have even taken. It features icicles on the tree limbs and a dark gray, cloudy background.

Just through the Clouds

The sun was barely peeking through the clouds when I took this picture. The clouds look almost see through-ish. The clouds also look wavy or bumpy, really perfecting the picture.

Small Town, Big Buildings

In the town of Albuquerque, New Mexico, I took an aerial  picture of downtown. With tiny mountains in the background and the big buildings up front, the picture has an amazing look to it.
